If Michele Bachmann can run for leader of the free world, then why not this guy? —
Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter has officially announced he will seek the Republican Party’s nomination for President. . . .
“Through your hard work and through your principled determination to bequeath to your children a better America, we will restructure the government,” Mr McCotter told the crowd at the festival, where he played guitar with a band. “What we need in Washington is someone who knows the future is not big government — it is self-government.”
Sure, it’s the same old drivel, but I like him. He seems to know his way around a Chuck Berry lick. At least when he’s playing guitar, he’s not saying something stupid.
Maybe Jon Huntsman can get his old band “Wizard” back together.
