The bizarrely entertaining Hyperactive Mitt that we see on the campaign trail is here replaced by the numbingly repulsive Serious Mitt. He slows down his usual foot-shuffling. His head moves back and forth like metronome. He purses his lips and drops his voice an octave at the end of each earnestly empty pronouncement.
It’s completely, transparently fake.
