Calling Howard Beale!

Rick Santelli of CNBC — in a tinny sort of way — started the Teabagger Revolution.  He was no Peter Finch, but at least he sounded authentic.

When his angry baton got passed to the likes of Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto, the nascent movement stopped being interesting.  It became just another dead slab of right-wing Republican product, sliced up and sold to the masses.

Here’s some free advice for would-be wingnut revolutionaries:  Lose the blowhards.  Leave the acting to the professionals.
