My Balanced Budget Plan

On Tuesday there was the Paul Ryan plan.  It cut $5.8 trillion from the ten-year federal budget and gave massive tax cuts to corporations and the rich.

On Thursday there was the Republican Study Committee Plan.  It cut $9.1 trillion from the ten-year federal budget and gave massive tax cuts to corporations and the rich.

Both plans are woefully inadequate.  Today I propose the ultimate in fiscal discipline.  I call it the Eliminate The Middleman Plan.  It’s very simple:  Just do away with the federal government entirely!  No more Congress.  No more President.  No more courts.  No more elections.  No more nothing.  Turn all public assets and liabilities over to the United States Chamber of Commerce.  Let them balance the books as they see fit.  In secret and in perpetuity.  Total savings: 17.4 trillion bazillion gajillion dollars!

It’s the only way.  Please click the links for further analysis.
