Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Anne Walsh Bradley is accusing her colleague David Prosser of putting her in a “chokehold” during a heated argument. But according to one of Prosser’s peeps, here’s what really happened:
“She charged him with fists raised,” the source said. Prosser “put his hands in a defensive posture,” the source said. “He blocked her.” In doing so, the source said, he made contact with Bradley’s neck.
The problem I have with this scenario is that it leaves the hellcat’s fists and fingernails free to inflict all kinds of damage to Justice Prosser’s face. It’s much easier to believe that the manly justice simply throttled his Amazon adversary till he thought she’d had enough.
Of course, ludicrous defenses usually work for Republicans. Isn’t that right, Senator Craig?
