President Obama pardoned two Thanksgiving turkeys this morning. CNN and MSNBC carried it live. Fox News aired commercials and then gave the event 15 seconds (on tape).
I’m pretty sure Roger Ailes showcased this thing every year when George W. Bush was doing the pardoning. Back then, it was breaking news on Fox whenever the President so much as changed his underpants.
Although Fox being biased is always obvious, pardoning of turkeys is about as important as changing pants. I think neither side should spend more than 15 seconds on it.

I actually enjoy this little event, even when a Bush does it. A 24 hour news network should be able to find time cover it.
